Jerusalem, September 25, 2008:
Cameroon Minister of Science and Research Dr. Madeleine Tchuinte visits 3GSolar office.
The Minister was accompanied by H.E the Ambassador Mr. Henri Etoundi Essomba.
During her visit, Dr. Tchuinte and the 3GSolar team discussed the setting up of a 3GSolar DSC modules production line in Cameroon.
‘Although we are still in development, our technology is getting near the point of commercialization and 3GSolar is establishing a wide commercial network in developing countries, mainly in Africa and India’, says Barry Breen, CEO of 3GSolar.
Off-grid PV applications and rural electrification are developing at fast pace as over 1.6 billion people around the world have no access to electricity.
Off-grid applications will continue to grow in the coming decade with growing demand for alternative energy solutions in many developing countries.
